So, you think you're a modern renaissance man (or woman) or know someone who you believe deserves this description. Well, if so, then send us your (or their) name and some details on why you feel this applies.

Assuming we get responses to this request, we will announce these people during the shows and give them credit for "doing some of everything".

Of course, most women by the very nature of what is required of them - especially stay-at-home wives and single moms - are renaissance people. Their lifestyle dictates that they perform many dissimilar tasks and perform them well. The key criteria here is the more dissimilar, the more renaissance - like female truck driver who sews and does sheet-rock... Get the idea?

Anyway, we've seen a lot of internet claims about men called "modern renaissance" who only do a couple things - not real impressive, but they seem to be popular. So, they can do art and write... most intelligent children can do that. How about men who repair cars, alter their own clothes, teach elementary school, and wind surf with boards they make themseves?

Tell us who the "real" renaissance people - even if you don't want them mentioned - just hear about them.
