Well, here's an idea that keeps coming up; should The Modern Renaissance Man television show attempt to become a weekly program versus the twice a month?

Send me your thoughts. Of course, if you want a weekly, would you be willing to become a volunteer to help create the show.

I like the idea but not too sure about the effort. More importantly, not sure if 'ol Dano and Dean [Dan Honeycutt and Dean Smart] want the additional load. Much of the show's success comes from their dedication over the past 13 months and I'd hate for them to scream and run away. Besides, Dean just got promoted to Asst Director with Audio Management and is now eligible for an extra slice of pizza during the taping sessions. This could lead to having to buy a whole 'nuther' pizza to meet their compesation requirements.

What do you think?

personally it would be easier to catch your show if you went weekly, but helping out is not something I would want to do. Did you say They work for Pizza? I have seen your show and the pizza must be gold plated. I think you do a great job and who ever helps you is doing their job very well.

myself - i would look at takeing your show to a better channel. 21 has lots of shows that bite. Thank god there are a handful of great shows that make it worth channel surfing for.

There isn't a listing in the TV Guide so I can't remember when my favorite shows come on. I do enjoy your show and a few others.

I do remember the days and times and that is how I find what I like.

Fridays and Ssturdays are so far the best they have.

Eve looked awful on your show - what happened? I never see here looking like that on her show. I guess her makeup artist didn't show up. I still like her and the show was interesting. I found out things I didn't know about her.

Thanks for the positive feedback Rose !!

Believe it or not, except for an occassional token of appreciation, the crew and cast are all
volunteers.  We thrive on the fun time received creating the show - TV magic is addictive -
and I stress on everyone enjoying in the production. We have a very talented group which
makes my job as producer, writer, and host much easier; I make a point to thank them on
        each and every program.

I'd love to take the show to a "better" station; especially if I could take the crew and cast.
The better stations actually pay for programming or help get sponsors that pay. However,
keep in mind that with Access 21, I can take liberties that regular commercial stations may
not want to support. Feel free to recommend the show to any station you would like to
see it aired - maybe they'll contact me with a better "deal".

You're right about the lack of TV listing. Considering all the shows on Access 21 are locally
produced (not necessarily created though), you would think the listing would be in the
local rags - NOT! Typical Charlotte. Anyway, here is a site to get the listings and other
        information about the stations:  http://www.tvaccess21.com/

Finally, about EVE... what happened is that I got stood up by several guests for that night
and Eve was there to support the taping... I coerced into filling in the guest slot sans makeup
and all. It was great learning about some of her interesting past experiences though.

Thanks for supporting The Modern Renaissance Man and please feel free to come and
watch a production. I really love the live audience in the "almost live" format.
The next taping is September 12th (a Tuesday night) - let me know if you and/or any friends
        are interested.

      TMRM,

My friends and I would love to see you go weekly or hourly. You've got the fastest half hour show... I often hear my friends say, "it was over too soon."

Well, don't expect it for the fall. Couldn't get any commitments on an air time other than "you won't have the time you have now".

So, since I don't want to move to something like Wednesday at 5:30pm... I'll hold off.

Tell your friends that a dvd of older shows could be made available. Also, tell them to contact the local commercial stations and maybe it can come true.
