In May 2006, the musical guests and filling in for the absent Trip Rogers (and Jeff Chester) is Deidrea Booher. She, with Jason Atkins, forms the Deidrea Booher Band. They will (or did, depending on when you read this) perform some excellent contemporary country tunes. Deidrea's voice, blended with Jason on the guitar, provided the best of substitutes to the show's regulars. Catch the two may shows!

Deidrea Booher has been performing live music since the age of 5.  Starting out playing in the coalfields of Southwest Virginia, she grew opening for Bluegrass great - Ralph Stanley and continued to open for acts such as Mel McDaniel; she has performed over the years with other acts currently on the Country Music charts.  Deidrea diversified her focus and has persuded a corporate career over the last 6 six years, blending what she learned as a performer with a passion for corporate training and organizational development.  Deidrea has returned to her artistic roots and is playing Charlotte area venues and working on an all orginal CD with songs she's penned over the last 5 years.

Jason Atkins, a twenty-seven year old Greenville, South Carolina native, moved to Charlotte and joined his first professional band right out of high school.  This self taught musician has performed live and in the studio with over thirty local and regional bands over a ten year period, including a tour opening for Nick Carter of The Backstreet Boys.

Hello. Sounds like Deidrea is working toward modern renaissance status too. I'm looking forward to this coming Friday night show!
